Writing about Poe... oh its Tuesday!

Hey, girls! Sorry I didn't post last week, I was busy doing exactly what I should be doing now... my research paper. Its pretty much my major grade of the semester and its due tomorrow, so this is going to be quick.

@Chelsea I'm glad everything with prom and the show worked out! Oh and I haven't read Shadow of the Wind, but I'll look for next time I go to the library. Which won't be until I turn in this and my many other papers.

@Carissa *makes finger heart thing* I love you, I hope your week gets better!

Everyone else: You should blog, and maybe then you'll get a comment from me.

But that's about it, I have a paper to write. Then after that, another paper to write. Then an art project to finish... oh and that other art project. And math homework. And I should probably read for art appreciation because I haven't done that in awhile (oops). I could probably find more to list, but I really have to go, so bye. Hopefully I'll have more time next week!

15 mins to blog... or save the world

ok so i just got home and saw the time.

I dont know about you girls but i hate drama and what i hate more than drama is being stood up.  if you say your going to be some where at a certain time then its expected that you should be there on time. you dont text the person you are meeting 30 minutes later and say that ur running late and might not be able to go. and then say that ill try and then have the person your meeting have to text you to tell you to forget it even though they have been waiting at the place for AN HOUR by then. it stupid and rude. and does not make one want to give you a second chance to prove yourself.

ok moral of the story is not lie and dont stand people up.

moving on my week has been pretty bad even though it was sprig break i worked everyday and drama surronds me there i swear.

hopefully tomorrow will be better. night girls! i miss u all and why is noone blogging anymore??

Long time no blog...

Hey ladies

I’ve been very absent from the internet lately. I have proper reasons but not all of them are good.

1. The show!!! It went great. You know that feeling you get when you have a crush on someone and they touch you? Well that warm and tingly feeling was how I felt at the end of the last song. I miss staying at the school til 9 believe it or not. I miss my cast and I miss being in a musical!!!

2. PROM!!! Even through all the stupid high school drama I had a really great night! Everything I had planned went perfect. Our limo was awesome, I looked awesome, my date was awesome, my friends were being nice to each other, and everything was just really good!!!!

3. During the show I had let my grade sit on the back burner and now I have to catch up

4. I normally take a nap at 5 o’clock

5. This is weird but I don’t feel as connected to the internet as I did last year. Maybe its cause I got really social… maybe its cause I don’t have a camera.

… I think that’s it.

I just finished the greatest book!!!!! Have any of you read the shadow of the wind? It’s by far my favorite of the year… it’s actually the first book I’ve finished this year but still. I stayed up til 4 in the morning trying to finish and when I was over I had the most amazing feeling. I don’t get why anyone does drugs when they can just read good books. So If you’re ever in Barns and Noble or whatever book store you go to pick up the shadow of the wind. Its almost 5 and time for my nap so I’ll talk to you guys later

Happy Wednesday

Happy Reading

Happy 24 of March

Lots of love

Spring Break

Hey girls its Tuesday! Which means mid-terms are over and I'm finally on Spring break. Unfortunately I procrastinated on writing this all day and now I have do it in like a half an hour (not actually that bad, but still). So let's just go back through the last few days and review what I did.

Friday: After a long day of mid-terms, me and some friends (Annette, Joanna, Tristan and Chris if your interested in their names) got in the car and drove about three and a half hours to Virginia Beach. The trip went shockingly well considering none of us are particularly gifted when it comes to navigating and have never been there. We got there at like 7PM, so we decided to eat, hang out on the boardwalk (which is amazing by the way) and then go to the Hotel and sleep (to whatever extent a group of college kids actually sleep while on Spring break).

Saturday: We went to the beach (shocking I know lol). I won't go into detail because I'm assuming you've all been to the beach and know the various activities one usually participates in while there.

Later through a string of random strangers we pieced together that there was some kind of  "show" on the beach later. We couldn't make out what kind of show, only that there was one and it was free. But after asking we realized it was a musical fountain thing (pretty self explanatory, there's a fountain, there's music, and people watch). I'm not generally into that kind of thing, but it happened to be free and college students are never keen to pass up free things. It was fun, not widely entertaining, but decent and we made our commentary which made it far more entertaining.

Sunday: We went downtown and shopped and ate and watched various street performers (something a smart Youtuber would have filmed, but I'm clearly not one of those. Sorry) before promptly driving back to Lynchburg. Where some of us (Tristan, Chris and Joanna if your curious) flew to their home states/countries (Tristan's from New Zealand) (can I just take a minute to be a total girl and swoon over his amazing accent). And some of us (Annette and me) drove home.

I'm going to skip Monday and Tuesday because nothing really happened. Except that I just watched "Harriet the Spy" on TV... that was fun. Tomorrow I'll probably work on my art project because its due shortly after break.

Mac or PC debate: I'm a PC who wants to be a Mac. What does that mean? Allow me to explain. I love Macs, I think their video software is better, I think they generally work faster and more efficiently and let's be honest, they look way more high-tech and awesome to be seen with in a coffee shop. However, my parents paid for my computer. And my Dad is a hardcore PC man. Partly because PC's are cheaper (which I'll admit is true) and partly because he's into computer programming which is one thing PC's are better for.

But I will admit, I love Google products a lot (Chrome = <3).

@Chelsea I hope the show is going well/went well (I don't know when it ends) and I agree we should start planning the summer.

i like turtles.....sea turtles that is...and sharks...da dum da dum...

hello girls!

So this week i went to the aquarium. And have rediscovered my love of the ocean. I also adopted a penguin named diane, through the adopt an animal at the aquarium. Her mate is named jack (hum along i know u know the song). i also have been on a nature kick again i've been watching planet earth and deep blue and another one that i forget what it is called.

my spring break isn't for another week! (lucky Arielle) so i have midterms next week and so much work to do.

I dont know if any of u are gamers but i recently bought bioshock 2 for Pc (yes i know i have a mac and i love macs but i have an old dell from 3 years ago that im currently installing it on as i type this) and i am so looking forward to playing it.

By the way girls Mac or PC?

Personally I love Macs and Apple products but I vote Google over Mac any day...i have an android phone and i use google chromo on my macbook which i know is evil nowadays.

I have started reading the book Garden Spells for this book club my friends at work are doing. Have any of you read them?

Also really funny story so if you dont know i have 2 fish tanks in my room one has 2 angelfish in it and the other has 2 tetras (one skirt and one glowfish) and a albino cory fish. So i went and got a balloon mollie to put in the tank from the fish store and ut the bag in the tank like your suppose to and waited about an hour. i came back and guess what...........My fish had BABIES! so i did some more research and apparently mollies can keep having babies for up to a month without needing a male mollie so needless to say she and the fry are in a breeding tank together. Crazy stuff!

@Chelsea i hope your show is going well now that life is getting better for you. Break A Leg!!

@Arielle hope you are having fun on Spring Break. And how excited are u for july and the Very potter musical sequel!!!!!! I am so excited! my friends and i are planning a trip that probley wont happen to see it at U of M in ann harbor in may.

@Tenley I hope your midterms went well and you have fun on spring break!

Unobsessed fan...

So how about My Chemical Romance lead singer had a kid...like a year ago! I have officially been kick out of the fan club because I just found out. I'm gonna give you a taste of the crazy.

I thought it was a sign that The Black Parade came out on my birthday (October 24). I would go through withdrawals for the music during school so as soon as I got home I would listen to all three CDs starts to finish. I cried when I found out they were coming to Georgia. Then I begged my parents 3 months ahead of time to let me go to this concert even though it was on an exam day and a school night.

Funny (not so funny) story

My mother asked me why none of my other friends were going. I told her because it was on a Tuesday. She then said "maybe you shouldn’t go" I spent the whole night crying only to find out in the morning that she was always going to let me go.
I saw them again that July 24. Then I saw them again for projekt revolution on another 24. I thought it was a sign. I have multiple copies of all the CDs…I don’t know how that happened. Another sign Ray Toro (lead guitar) really likes captain crunch so I thought it was a sign that there was captain crunch in our pantry so I had to take it to the concert.
I had t-shirt and buttons and obsession pages in all of my binders and now two years later I find out Gerard Way had a kid…. Last May on a 27 not a 24. That threw me off a bit. Well there is no real point to this story. It just blew my mind and I thought I should share.

Very tired again and very greatful that opening night is tomorrow. I Love the Les Mes cast and I'm going to be really sad when its over.
Ladies we should start planning our summer... Maybe themes, maybe videos and maybe meeting IRL. I am going to Florida in July maybe to go to universal. sooo...yeah. I think I'm going to go to bed now and do @replies in the morning

Mid-Terms

You know what sucks? Mid-term week. Yeah, its mid-term week here, so this is going to be quick (well, it should be, but then again I said the same thing last week).

Fortunately, I don't have a ton to talk about anyways. Aside from studying for multiple exams and being really excited for spring break next week, nothing is really happening.

I actually don't even know if there's a theme because I'm the first one to post this week, so I guess were theme-less?

Anyways, in the midst of studying I usually have one thing that I spend my time procrastinating with. This time around, although I'm embarrassed to admit it, I've been watching "Make it or Break it" obsessively (currently I'm re-watching old episodes while I finish my art portfolio). Have you guys seen it? If not, basically its a bunch of a elite gymnasts in training. Its a pretty simple plot line, and I often catch myself wondering why I love it so much, but I do.

*thinks of things to talk about* I've got nothing (hums the Chartjackers song) which is good because I should get back to work on my portfolio.

this is petty and stupid and very high school...

Hey ladies

Was there a theme this week? Whatever I’m having a bad day. No that’s a lie I’m having a bad night. And I can’t do this right now. I’ll tell you guys more at our skype chat if you want to hear it. But its not something I’m putting on the internet.

The Downside of Procrastination

This is going to be quick because I have to work on my English paper and its already pretty late. The theme this week is presents. You can tell us about the best present you've gotten, or the worst, or just a funny story about presents, it really doesn't matter.

I'm currently drawing a blank on every present I've ever received though (perhaps because I've been spending so much time working on my paper*). But I do remember a present I gave so I'm going to tell that story.

When I was in tenth grade one of my friends decided to have a white elephant party (I don't remember the reason). I pretty sure white elephant gifts are common knowledge, but in case their not, its basically just a stupid gift that no one would ever want to receive, but in this case they do as a joke (wrapping up garbage is a common present). But I decided to take it further. I took a Ken doll (yes I still owned one in tenth grade. Yes, I'm weird) and put him in Barbie clothes and then stuck him in Barbie box with the label; Cross-dresser Ken.

Usually I'd go into more detail when I tell stories, but I really have to work on my paper so I can't. But real quickly, some @replies:

@Chelsea I hope the shows going well, and good luck (I'll probably say that again next week FYI)!

@Carissa Luna is awesome. I wish I could rewatch Harry Potter (my inner thoughts: no, Tenley, no don't procrastinate anymore. You can't!).

Dang it, this was much longer than I was going for! I apparently can't do short. I can't do short blogs, I can't watch Youtube videos for a short period of time...

*That's a lie. I've been spending my time procrastinating, which is why I'm in such a panic now. Why do I do this to myself?
